At Mike Abatti Farms, it is our goal to make food safety our number one priority. Our employees are trained in accordance with LGMA (Leafy Green Marketing Agreement) as well as CCAB (California Cantaloupe Advisory Board). Mike Abatti Farms food safety standard operating procedures (SOP's) were developed by some of the leading professionals in the industry and are currently being implemented here on the farm. As apart of that. our company  goes through a rigorous food safety audit every year to keep in compliance with the changing food safety regulations. 

Irrigation 

Our water supply is thoroughly tested prior to harvest. 

Crop Management

Our team of trained professionals keep up with food safety regulatory compliance.  

Harvest

Our harvesters are also highly trained farm labor contractors and typically receive the same food safety training as our own professionals. We work together to make sure audits are seamless.
